My most recent project in collaboration with my daughter Abigail is a play called 'The Man Upstairs'. This is the fictional story of a young English girl's spiritual journey, set against the changes in Russia during the period of Gorbachev's 'glasnost' and 'perestroika' in 1990.

Her transition from a commonplace atheism to a faith in God, is told in short often very funny scenes which form part of an interrogation by Russian police continuing to investigate the murder of Alexander Men 10 years after the event. In real life, Abigail was herself baptised by Father Alexander at Eastertime, 1990.

Other past drama projects include: with other members of the Lanark Writers' Circle, a radio 'soap' for Radio Avon FM, regular contributions to 'the Monday Lizard'- the monthly cabaret event at the Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh - and other occasional group productions there.
